Path of Exile 3.19: Full Reveal & Launch Date

Path of Exile 3.19 is the latest league and it just dropped the full details. The league launch date for Lake of Kalandra is set for August 19, at 1 p.m. PDT. That’s a week of preparation to ensure your league starter makes the best progress.

Lake of Kalandra Overview & League Details

Fans have long wondered who the mystical Kalandra was? After all, the ‘Mirror of Kalandra’ is, by far, the rarest piece of currency for the longest time in Path of Exile.

With 3.19’s league launch, it seems the mystery is finally revealed. The league launch trailer introduced – Kalandra herself guiding the players into what the league is all about.

The league itself has the player going through Mirrored Tablets that are randomly found when exploring Wraeclast. Once interacted, the tablets let you choose the kind of encounter you’d face. There are various choices to reroll or even convert the tablet into a portable tablet form.

Once the player sets the course on the mirrored tablets, a specialized area at the Lake of Kalandra is opened, here the mobs take on the aspects of your tablet choices. From killing league specific bosses – Harbinger, Delirium, etc. to killing Act bosses.

Rewards for Completing the Encounter

No league would be complete without the reward system that is specific to each league. The Lake of Kalandra is no different. Successfully, completing the encounters, opens a ‘Reflection’ system. Where an item is generated. The item improves and decreases in stats. Another copy of the item is formed, which inversely negates and improves the other stats of the item. Only one copy may be obtained by the player.

While it seems complicated, the system is something that we’ve grown used to with Path of Exile’s advanced crafting mechanism.

With the full patch notes here, players can theorycraft their heart away. Here are some of the major changes to 3.19

• Minion builds have lost most of their power from natural sources like gems, and gained some of it back through gearing
• Seismic Trap sees a 30% loss in overall damage
• Trickster has a nice overhaul and is geared to be a top tier ascendency with the ‘One Step Ahead’ ascendency node
• 4 new skill gems – Galvanic Field (Intelligence, Main), Lightning Conduit (Intelligence, Main), Overcharge (Intelligence, Support), and Alchemist’s Mark (Dexterity, Curse)
• Over 15 divination cards added
• 14 new Unique Items added
• 5 New Ring Base types added
• Trialmaster from the Ultimatum league makes his return in the new unique map – Tower of Ordeals
• Atlas Memories system –  rare chance to find a Memory of an NPC that represents their past, every set gets harder to complete, with each new layer of progression

Despite the big nerfs to meta builds, Lake of Kalandra does have an interesting crafting system. Apart from this, there are plenty of QoL changes such as using currency items directly from your stash tab when utilizing the crafting bench.
